What is Pass Plus?

Pass Plus is a course to help young drivers gain valuable additional driving experience that may not be covered in driving lessons. It is backed by the Government's Driving Standards Agency and there is no test to take at the end.

Its six modules cover:

• Driving in towns and cities
• Driving in all weather conditions
• Driving at night
• Driving on dual carriageways

With Norwich Union you get up to 10% off your insurance premium if you have completed Pass Plus. If you already have a policy with us you will get a pro-rata rebate from the date you complete your training. This is as long as you have not made a claim with Norwich Union or before the inception of the policy, and provided that we have not already provided you with an introductory discount based on your age and driving history.

In simple terms more driving experience means you're less likely to have an accident, and you are more likely to hang onto your no claims discount, saving more money sooner that you thought.

How much does Pass Plus cost?

Young drivers with a Norwich Union Rapid Bonus car insurance policy can take a BSM Pass Plus course for only £99 - a substantial saving on the standard course fee.

To take a BSM Pass Plus course for only £99 once you have taken out a Rapid Bonus policy simply:

• follow the instructions given in your pack
• complete the course
• call us on 0800 092 9564 to arrange the refund from your premium.
