Calculating your cover
On average premiums are re-calculated each year. Premiums start at £750 per annum and on average can be as little as just 0.5% of a company's payroll.
The premium must be fully funded by the company with no contributions towards the cost from employees.
We can currently offer a discount off our standard Group Income Protection rates for at least the first two years if your company has a Group Private Medical Insurance scheme. Discounts are calculated on the net premium after any other discounts and charges.
The premiums you pay will depend on a number of factors such as:
- The number of people in the scheme
- The age, sex, location and occupation of each person
- The level of Group Income Protection cover you choose
- The deferred period you decide on
- How long you want the benefit to last.
