Benefits for in-patient or day-patient treatment will only be available privately if treatment is not available at an NHS hospital within six weeks.

You will still benefit from private cover should your GP refer you to a Specialist for diagnosis. If subsequent eligible treatment as an out-patient is required, you can go private for this too.
