  You'll be dealing with different types of people: solicitors, mortgage lenders, tenants and/or lettings agents, insurance brokers, maintenance people (e.g. plumbers), local authorities.
• Are you responsible enough to ensure you comply with many regulations?
• As a landlord you may have to deal with tenant queries day and night, do you have time to spare?
• Do you have access to finance quickly should the property require any maintenance?
• Are you able to budget money?
• Will you be able to cover the mortgage should you not get a tenant for a period of time?
