Financing Healthcare
Please submit entries relating to the funding of healthcare, in particular self-help methods and products such as private medical insurance that contribute to people's health and wellbeing. Items submitted from national, regional press or online must be in one of the following subsections:
Consumer
Material primarily about, or of interest to patients and/or the general public
Trade
Material primarily concerning medical or associated issues and of interest to medical and financial professionals
Best Newcomer - Material which meets the criteria above and is written by entrants who have had their first health related article published within the last three years can be entered into this category (student publications will not be considered).
You will need to submit one original and three clearly legible copies (max size, A3 un-mounted), each clearly marked with the name of the publication and the date of appearance. If the item does not include the writer's by-line, it must be editorially certified as required on the entry form.
Without all copies, your entry will be considered incomplete.
The journalist who wins the category, will receive £1,000 in prize money. The Best Newcomer will win £750.
