If you don't make any claims on your policy, you receive a no claim discount on your premium when you renew the following year. The discount increases for each additional year you remain claim-free, up to a maximum of five years. You can't earn a no claim discount on a policy that you have had for less than 12 months. NCD applies to the policyholder, not the policy; so if we agree to transfer your policy to another person, the NCD that you have already earned under this policy remains with you and does not apply to the person who the policy is being transferred to. |
