Here's How it works

The device

• A Global Positioning System (GPS) device the size of a DVD case is fitted discreetly to your car for free.
• The GPS device stores information about each car journey before transmitting it automatically to Norwich Union via a secure network.
• The journey data collected from the in-car device is used to calculate your premium, which reflects your unique driving patterns.

The RAC Installation

• Installation of your device is carried out by RAC the In Car Services team who will contact you to arrange a date and time convenient to you.
• At the same time you will also have your assistance button fitted to a suitable place on your dashboard. You will be given a demonstration on how simple it is to operate.
• As part of the installation process you will also receive a free windscreen and battery health check.
• Your manufacturers warranty will not be affected by having the device fitted into your car.
