Norwich Union policyholder funds are managed by a group company, Morley Fund Management Ltd.

Morley has appointed a team whose purpose is to focus solely on Socially Responsible Investment, commonly known as SRI. A key objective being to ensure that further emphasis is placed on social, environmental and ethical issues as an integral part of the investment process.

Morley's policy on SRI is one of constructive engagement. This means it believes that making public demands to company management does not help to build a positive dialogue to bring about change and could be counter-productive to the engagement process.

Morley's fund managers have a programme of regular meetings with senior management of the companies in which they invest.
