Linda Wallace has been promoted to head of major accounts IFA atNorwich Union – the UK’s largest insurer. Reportingdirectly to David Barral, director of IFA development, Linda willbe based in York and on a day-to-day basis will be responsible forbuilding relationships and developing business with IFAs across themajor IFA accounts sector.

Linda, who has spent nearly nine years with Norwich Union, CGUand Commercial Union in various management posts, joins from theLiverpool office, where she held the post of regional manager incharge of IFA sales. Prior to joining Norwich Union, Linda workedfor a number of life companies including Scottish Amicable and hasspent time as an IFA.

Linda said: “This is an exciting time to be joining themajor accounts team and I am really looking forward to taking onthe challenges this role provides.”
