Winter sports cover

If you are taking part in winter sports whilst abroad, Norwich Union Direct Travel Insurance can extend your policy to cover winter sports holidays and provide the following additional cover. We can cover winter sports holidays up to a total of 21 days during the period of insurance under our Annual Multi-trip policy and up to 120 under our Single Trip policy.

Ski equipment
Delay due to Avalanche
Piste closure
Ski Pack (ski school lessons, ski hire and lift pass)
Inability to take part in Winter Sports activities due to injury or illness during the holiday

Please note there are some specific exclusions to this section of our policy. Please refer to our online policy wordings for full details of the cover provided.

Baggage cover

It is possible for you to add this cover to your Travel Insurance Policy for an additional premium. The total limit is £1,500 with a single article limit of £300 and valuables limit of £400.

Please note you may already have your personal possessions insured whilst abroad under your existing Home and Contents Insurance; you should check this with your household insurer.
